Day 19: My doctor called today to check on me. He wanted to let me know that the insurance company still hasn't okay'd the MRI, but he doesn't see a problem. He said they always drag their feet when doing an MRI. He said that once he gets the okay, he'll set up the appointment and we'll get this show on the road. He said I didn't sound like myself last week and he was concerned. I still can't believe he called for no reason other then to see how I was feeling. I love my doctor. He's great. For him, I'm always grateful.

Have a good Friday.

Hugs, Patt

Update: Patt is an airhead. LOL For some reason I thought I was two days behind on the Meme. So posted two days extra to catch up. Now I'm ahead. I swear sometimes I feel like a twit. *grin* My MRI is scheduled for Friday afternoon. I sure hope they can figure out what's wrong.

First of all, I went to the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor and he said that the cyst on my tongue has to be taken out and he thinks it's deep, so I have to have a biopsy done September 6th. Golly sakes, I'm thrilled about that. He said not to worry, but he just wanted to be sure it wasn't any type of cancer. So that's what I have planned so far for September. Stiches on my tongue. Woo Hoo. He said with any luck, it won't take too many stiches. So I can wish for few. On a much lighter note, the doctor is dreamy. I kid you not, he looks 30 at the most and gorgeous. A very handsome man. He's Greek and we talked about being Greek for about a half hour. He didn't rush my visit at all. I really liked him.

Then I had my 28 minute MRI done and I had an anxiety attack while inside the tube. But I was a good girl. I did deep breathing exercises and didn't move a muscle. They told me if I moved, they would have to start all over again. I sure as hell didn't want that. She said I was an excellent patient and the pictures were sharp and clear. Thank God for that. When they pulled me out of that tube or tunnel whatever it's called, my hair was soaking wet. The gown I had on was soaking wet too. The technician told me the next time, I needed to be sedated and that's all there was to it. Both of them were worried about me for a short time. But once I was out, I started calming down again. I didn't know I was claustraphobic at all. Rod took me for my tests today and he said I looked horrible when I came walking out of there. I told him, "Thanks." LOL

The only great thing that happened today, was the fact that Rodney took the day off and we spent it together. Just the two of us, running errands, having brunch and just spending time together. It was a really nice day, except for the MRI. LOL (I'm such a wuss) Now we just have to wait for the results.

I just wanted to give you all an update on my health. I know that you all look forward to that. LOL Be well, all of you and have a great weekend.

Hugs, Patt
