I have two new babies (great-nieces) coming soon, so I wrote a short childrens book and will have them made up for the kiddos. I do that for all of the nieces and nephews. They seem to like that, so it works well. Then I learned how to make the little blankets where you take two pieces of one yard fabric (Fleece) and cut the sides and you tie it together all the way around the blanket. They are so cool. I have one and hubster has one. Our granddaughter, Alexa made them for us. On cool nights they are very nice to have for your legs. Anyhow, I'm going to pick out the fabric and make two baby blankets for the two new babies coming. It'll be my first time at making one, so I'm excited and know I can always call Alexa and ask her if I have a question. :) I can't wait to pick out the fabric.

Our middle child, Chris is coming from Texas for a visit. Nothing is etched in stone yet, because she has to wait and see if her hubster will be gone to Australia for three weeks. She thought she would come for a visit while he was gone. For eight days, not three weeks. She would be insane by then. She is Alexa's mom and we can't wait to see her again. We spent Christmas with them, but it'll be nice to see her. And alexa plans on coming for a visit in the summer. She's going to battle the heat with no pool. (I wish we had one)

We just got done cleaning out the spare room and we're going to fix it up for Samantha to have as her room, but she also knows that it's going to be the spare room, too. She's fine with that. She can't wait to have her own room. She's been sharing with Shannon for 6 years now. Poor Shannon. (Our oldest daughter) She's such a mess, emotionally, physically and mentally. I feel like she's been here forever and will never leave. One of these days, I think she'll get better with her therapy and so on. We have hope that one day we'll have the house to ourselves. Woot!

Our son is doing well in college and also a tattoo artist. He's very good. He's had job offers from another tattoo shop and he's thinking about switching. He's taking Welding in school but Tattooing has always been his dream. It's nice when you are able to live your life and fulfill some of your dreams. :)

All in all, we're doing pretty darn spiffy. No complaints and loving this 77 degree weather, looking forward to the 82 degree weather tomorrow. :) That's my idea of winter. *grin*

I hope this post finds you all doing well.

Hugs, Patt
