I was getting worried for awhile, but then he pulled out strong and never looked back. THank goodness. I feel so much better now.

I'm not our version of a Democrat (I'm very middle of the road) but I'm delighted - in recent years I've felt that your top Republicans were dangerous to democracy, with a master-servant mindset, and the little I've seen on our news about this election campaign just confirms me in that view.

As a non-American, I am relieved beyond relief that US re-elected Obama.

You and me both, Sister Patt!!!

I wasn't going to watch any of the coverage but my friend called around 11:30 to let me know the good news. She knew how anxious I'd been the last few months. When you live in a conservative state like Kentucky, it's hard to believe there are enough like-minded folk to save the country from going back into the dark ages with civil and reproductive rights. The whole separation of Church and State is a huge issue right now. I'm glad we were able to hold off on religion getting a stronger foothold a while longer, thank you very much!

Just look at the crowds for the candidates, all white for Romney, a rainbow for Obama. To say I was relieved and excited was putting it mildly.
