1 Box Vanilla Wafers - crushed to sand status :)
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Cup Powdered Sugar (easy on this addition when making larger batches it can d...ry it out)
1/4 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
1/4 Cup Captain Morgan Rum (you can add a tad more but not too much or they'll be too moist)
Mix all together till sticky batter forms. It helps to use a hand held metal dough blender - more commonly used to blend flour and shortening for pie dough. Of course your hands will work too :) When it's hard to stir/blend it's ready to roll. Roll in teaspoon sized balls and roll/coat in more powdered sugar. If your hands get too sticky rolling just powder them with the sugar. Place on wax paper in cookie tin and freeze or refrigerate to cure for at least 2 days or longer. Serve cold but they are also good at room temp after curing. This is a good one to have the kids help with.
