Busy, busy, busy.

Lisa, Duncan's Twin and I are getting the Moonridge Ezine Edition ready to go out to the winners. It's a lot of work, let me tell ya. I've been learning html so that I can help Lisa all I can. I only screwed up a couple of times so far. LOL

I've already received four stories for the new September Ezine, so that's exciting. To anyone that's interested, the theme is both men are in law enforcement. Doesn't have to be cops, it can be anything you want. But if you're interested in sending me a story, I would love to hear from you. Remember you get art with that story. :)

It's hot, hot, hot here in Arizona. Looks like it's going to continue to be hot until next week when it will become hotter. LOL I can't believe that we live in the desert on purpose. Can you? But the fall and winter are sooooooooo nice. Almost makes it worth it.

I'm anxiously awaiting my new book I ordered. It's called 12 Sharp by Janet Evanovich and it's one in a series. Has anyone read her work? She's fantastic is what she is. If you get a chance start at number 1 and work your way up. She's worth it. YOu'll love her humor. I hear that they're making a movie out of the first one. I'm not sure I like that idea at all. But what do I know?

Everyone have a wonderful week. Happy Monday. :)

Hugs, Patt

Tuesday Update

We finished the My Mongoose Chapters Ezine for the Moonridge Edition. Now I just have to send them out to all of the winners. Woo Hoo. Now we have to plan for Sept.

Yikes... I didn't realize you lived here too. It was 108 today at 6:17 pm as I drove down I-17 past the Shamrock sign.
Speaking of driving... I saw your comment on [livejournal.com profile] peter_neverland's post today, about the cab driver. Don't you just see Jim as being this kind of man? He was who I envisioned while I was reading the story.
T... Trying to keep cool too.

Do you live anywhere near Gilbert? I've met someone else that lives in Peoria, but that's really far too. Phoenix is huge isn't it?

I live near deer valley. But, I can make it anywhere. I work in Tempe, have friends in Chandler. I'm all over the place all of the time.

I don't like to drive much, so my friend is coming to Superstition Springs Mall on Saturday, if things go as planned. Then we'll have lunch and walk for a few hours and just talk nothing but Sentinel. It would be nice to have you come one weekend.

Yes, I see Jim being that cab driver. He's so sweet. So is Blair, but I think that Jim would cherish the time spent with the older person. JMO of course. :)
