2025 Question a Day

2025 Question a Day

14. Ironing – yes or no..?

I have an iron and ironing board but I rarely use it. If it’s going out some where, I guess I could touch them up. I’m so bad about being with it. I’m dying to see if a lot of people iron daily.

I would never iron daily! LOL! Mr Cee does a lot of the 'big' ironing (we have cotton sheets which are too large for me to manage easily), and he also tends to iron his T-shirts. Fortunately I don't have many clothes that need ironing :D

Never. I think I have an iron around somewhere from many years ago... But if it wrinkles, I don't wear it.

Plus some things that might get a bit wrinkly can be fixed with a quick spin in the dryer.

My iron went rusty from lack of use. I never iron anything. Any wrinkles in T-shirts tend to drop out once you start wearing them and I always buy good quality bedding (100% Egyptian cotton) that never needs ironing :)

I used to iron EVERYTHING... including a dozen dress shirts for my Ex but even those really didn't need it.

Looking back it was a staggering waste of my time!

I iron my work outfit every morning. I'd have to press out hanger bumps on the shoulders of shirts, anyway, so.... It generally doesn't last past me putting my coat on, but it makes me feel better about it.

Daily ironing? No way! But I do iron my shirts, some of my pants, too. My mother used to iron all and everything, even socks and underwear... she was like that, not happy until everything was clean and tidy.

I never iron my clothes. However, I do cross stitch on linen and when I'm done with a project, I iron it. Otherwise, the poor iron just sits around taking up space.
