Dang it...
This turned out sort of long, so...
I miss Sentinel Chat. Last night Samantha had two friends for a sleep over and their mom didn't come as she said she would. So instead of picking them up at 10:00 this morning, they came at 1:00 this afternoon. I told Rod we're taking a few weekend off with friends. We're physically and mentally exhausted. We're not used to having a ten year old again. And we're not as young as we were then either. *grin* Then at 1:00, our grandson Vincent came by with his little girl, Jayla. (Vincent is Samantha's older brother. He's 26.) So much for me getting to chat at 1:00. Eventually I'll get the hang of this, but for right now, I'm a little tired. Whine, whine, whine. Someone throw me some cheese to go with it. :)
Things are going well around here. Still so much to do to get the house back in order, but we're getting there. I can't wait to have my spare room back to it's original order. :) Woot! It's probably going to take me two months to get this all done. But it's all right. I've got nothing but time.
I went for a check up to the doctor and he said I looked and sounded 100% better than four months ago and he wondered why. I explained what was going on and he said it was the best thing we ever did. He told me he admired me for stepping up to the plate. :) (Wasn't that cute?) The depression I was in was really affecting my life and personality. I'm so much better now.
I hope you all have a wonderful week. Know that all of you are in my thoughts as I tear my house apart. *grin* Take care all of you.
Hugs, Patt

It all sounds wonderfully positive, well, apart from the bit where you're knackered! But isn't it weird, how things always work out for the best? You've done a fabulous thing, and so worth it too, and you completely deserve to be feeling better because of it. Go you, luv. *\o/* You're brilliant!

I'm so glad things are working out. It's a huge adjustment, but you're up for it.

I hope the tiredness wears off soon. Maybe it's just the adjustment?
