So...

We're on vacation in Sedona,Arizona, having a blast when my cell phone rings and it's Vincent, all upset and says someone just hit him from behind and smashed in his entire back end of his new car. Then he said he was hurt. *sigh* Nothing like that type of call to dampen your vacation. We don't have any cell service at the condo,so I don't know how he is yet. *another sigh* I told him to email me,but nothing yet. They always say no news is good news, but I don't think that works in this case. Poor thing, if it wasn't for bad luck, he'd have none. :( Hopefully, I will hear something soon. Tomorrow we have hiking and The Avengers to see, so I'm hoping for good news. I'll keep you all updated when I get some news.

Hugs, Patt

Update

Well, he got whiplash, but nothing worse than that. His entire back and butt are black and blue from the impact. Hopefully, he will get his car done next week. The other guys insurance is paying everything and more. :) This is good news. So when this is all said and done, his car still will look new. :)

old fashioned whiplash

That's pretty darn painful. I hope he does get better and that it's not more serious. I know I had that once and it lasted for weeks. It was miserable.

Is he going to get his car fixed or was it totaled? Poor guy.

6500 to fix it, but they're fixing it. I can't believe it. It's a 2001 so not sure of the blue book on it. Did you have to go to physical therapy or anything, or just suffer for a few weeks? This is all new to me. I'll take good care of him when I get home and baby him a little too.

No physical therapy, just lots of anti inflammatory drugs and heating pads. Nothing really works except time.
