Okay, here we go. Last day of my five days. :) Woo Hoo. I bet you're all saying that, too.

1. Secret Santa should be starting next month. I'm so excited about that. :) I have no idea what I'm going to write this year, but I enjoy it so much. Ainm is the best. :) Super positive.

2. Today I stood on the scale and saw that I lost another two pounds. That means a total of 42 pounds in all. :) How exciting is that? The only not positive thing is I have about another 50 to go. Gosh, it goes on much quicker than it comes off, doesn't it?

3. Ten days until our vacation in Orlando, Florida. We're so excited. If I could get away with it without being teased by hubster, I would start packing now. LOL I've never seen the two Harry Potter rides at Universal, so looking forward to that, big time. And I adore Disneyworld. I've been five times already. This will be our sixth. You'd think I would grow tired of it, but I never do.

You all have a wonderful week.

Hugs, Patt

I'm here once again, darn it. LOL I'll try to be short this time.

Things that are positive in my life.

1. WE have a new Great-Grandson due November 1st. And he lives in Tucson. Yay!

2. I finished my Christmas shopping a little early. (yes, I know it's only September but everything was going to short supply and I have a ton to buy for.) So, now no worries. I have all Birthdays and Christmas for everyone.

3. I am so thankful for all of my live journal and fandom friends. Sometimes I wonder how everyday people do it without all of you. LOL You're all very positive and I totally enjoy your advice, company and just reading your posts from time to time. Thank you for always being here for me.

4. Tonight, I have an extra one because I've discovered a new place on Live Journal. It's the Spook-me Multi Fandom list and I signed up for a story for the end of October. I don't know that I can do it or not. But I chose The SEntinel with Jim and Blair. My creature is vampire. I'm having a blast working on it and I don't even have the prompts yet. I'm really looking forward to this. Just in case anyone else is interested, here is the link to the page to sign up. Signups close on the 15th of the month. There is a list of creatures to choose from and it just sounds like great fun. :)

Have a great week, everyone.

Well, I had a wonderful day with the family. The day just flew by. Have you noticed that about weekends? They seem to go faster then the weekdays. LOL I'm just saying. Here we go with three positive things.

1. I'm so grateful that I didn't have any heart problems and that the ulcer is doing well now. I'm doing rather well, actually and sure can't complain. We should all be grateful for good days and a good life.

2. I talked to my mom today and she's so funny. It's not always a good funny. She's got dementia, so it's trying on all of us, including her. But, we had a great talk and she asked me to come down next month or November. So, I'm going to try and do that. We'll see what comes into play in my real life situation. Anyway, the positive part of this is that she's still with me. We have good talks about my dad and missing him. It's nice to be able to talk about him with her now. She used to get too upset. Things are looking up.

3. I have wonderful siblings. I miss all of them. Most of them live in New Mexico, so I feel like I need to go and see them soon, but I have to wait and see what happens after we get home from vacation. I'm lucky to have all my siblings still with me. I have one sister, Mary, and six brothers. :)

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Thinking of all of you.

Okay, here goes todays. As always I'm awake in the middle of the night. :) Sometimes I like that though. Gives me a chance to catch up with things.

Positive things in my life:

1. I have a wonderful hubster and next year it'll be 45 years. We still love each other, which is totally positive.

2. I'm very grateful for our three children. We've been blessed.

3. From our children we have gotten many, many grand-children. They are so wonderful. We love being grandparents. In fact, when we go to Orlando in two weeks, our oldest grand-daughter will be there for the week also. She's 23 now and still doesn't mind hanging out with her Gma and Gpa. LOL That's what she calls us. We have grown to love that term of endearment.

I hope you are all doing well.

[ profile] finlaure has challenged me to post three positive things for five days. I think I can handle this. I in turn challenge [ profile] grey853 to do the same. Now I have to think of two others. [ profile] snailbones you are officially challanged. LOL WEll, that came out wrong. *grin* And last but not least, [ profile] briarwood you are challenged also. :) (No one actually has to do this.)

Today's postitive things:

1. I'm in the middle of planning a trip with family to Orlando, Florida. Can't wait for the end of the month. We're all so excited.

2. Our grand-daughter, Samantha has troubles with reading, so we got a tutor. She's still struggling but last night she read an entire book to me without my help. It was hard for her, but she didn't give up. Yay. This is very positive.

3. I just heard that there might be a Reverse Big Bang next year and I love them. Woo Hoo. I'm starting to think of ideas already.

4. Yes, I had to put a fourth one because I'm so happy with the Sentinel Big Bang this year. We have a ton of stories turned in or almost turned in so far and they all appear to be wonderful. So, this is good news and very positive. ;)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs, Patt
